30 Point QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTION STANDARDS
TO QUALIFY PRE-OWNED EQUIPMENT

BODY AND FRAME

MAST

  • The mast, carriage and sideshift are checked for wear, pads are replaced when necessary.
  • Forks are checked for excessive wear and fork lock pins are checked.
  • Lift and tilt cylinders are checked.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

  • Hydraulic pump and valve are checked for leaks.
  • Hoses and fittings are checked for wear and cracking.
  • Hydraulic oil level is adjusted accordingly.

DIFFERENTIAL AND STEERING

  • Steer axle bearings and bushings are checked for wear.
  • Steer gear is checked as well as the differential assembly.
  • Fluids are adjusted accordingly.

BRAKES

  • Wheels are removed, brake shoes are inspected and replaced when required.
  • Wheel cylinders, brake lines and fittings are checked and repaired if required.
  • Park brake is checked.

ENGINE / TRANSMISSION

  • Engine compression test is performed. Oil and filter are changed.
  • Engine tune-up is preformed if necessary.
  • Transmission is pressure tested.

COOLING / FUEL SYSTEMS

  • Fuel lines and fittings are checked and replaced if necessary.
  • Air filter is replaced.
  • Radiator is pressure tested to check for leaks.
  • Coolant is adjusted if necessary.

ELECTRIC FORKLIFTS

  • Battery is tested to insure capacity of 80% or more, additional battery warranties are available for an additional fee.
  • Industrial charger is checked and voltage set to customer building voltage.
  • Drive motors are checked and repaired/replaced if necessary.
  • Control panel contacts are checked and cleaned.

INSPECTION:

  • Before delivery, -- the unit is thoroughly inspected AGAIN and test operated.
  • Electric units receive a final charge.

WarrantyWARRANTY

  • A written warranty is provided at time of delivery. Terms are defined in day or hours.
  • Up to a 1 year warranty is available on QUALIFIED CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED units.
